Terms Policies
Medical history
- We require clients to fill in a medical history before ALL treatments and we request that you advise us in advance if you have any medical conditions that may contraindicate treatments, or if you are pregnant.
- We do not wax or massage anyone undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.
- Our therapists reserve the right to refuse treatments to clients with questionable medical conditions, or for other reasons including being under the influence of alcohol or social narcotics.
Children / mobiles
- Out of consideration for other clients, please do not bring your child (even a quiet child) to the spa.
- NO Phone Zone Once inside the spa your phone will remain in the locker either off or set it on silent vibrate until your treatment is complete.
Spa etiquette & safety
- For some treatments such as massage, brazilian waxing, bathing and spray tanning, it may be appropriate for clients to remove all articles of clothing. In the case of massage, clients will be appropriately covered with towels, and for bathing an optional modesty towel is available.
- Clients must advise prior to bathhouse use if they require, our staff to assist, them, to get in and or out of the baths.
- For spa and sauna treatments, a staff member will check on you part way through your treatment to ensure you are comfortable and not feeling too hot, or light-headed.
- Body Inc does discourage relationships between its clients, employees/contractors.
Reserving appointments / arriving late / cancellations / packages
- Amex,Visa or Mastercard is required to reserve ALL appointments. Alternatively, if you do not have a credit card or choose not to give us your credit card details, treatments can be pre-paid in person or a gift certificate issued for the treatment you wish to have.
- As we work on an appointment basis, if you arrive late, the treatment fee remains the same and we will still finish on time to be fair to other clients and to allow time for preparation of other treatments.
- We require a minimum of 2 hours cancellation notice for all treatments, otherwise 50% of the treatment fee will be charged if the appointment is cancelled. After 8pm and public holidays a 15% surcharge applies for in spa treatments for non members a 50% surcharge for mobile treatments. All treatments must be pre-paid, and even. This policy also applies to gift certificates, pre-paid treatments, and treatment cards.
- All packages and treatments for two or more people must be prepaid.
Prices / call out fees & surcharges
- Prices are subject to change, without notice.
- On occasions, our staff are willing to do treatments outside their normal working hours. However, a call-out fee applies to cover their travel time and expenses, and an hourly surcharge to subsidise their overtime, which applies not only to the treatment itself, but for the time involved in preparation and clean up.
No refunds / faulty products
- Products, treatments, classes and workshops are non-refundable.
- Faulty products must be returned within seven days of purchase for an exchange, which will be at Body Inc’s discretion.
